We are Gerry and Sandra Kelly the owners of Koolski house. We have spent a considerable amount of our working lives outside of England in West Africa, Belgium, Russia and for three years in Plovdiv in Bulgaria working with Inbev Brewery making the famous Kamenitza beer.

It was at that time that we knew that Bulgaria was the place for us and as we both love to ski we bought our house in Samokov and set about converting it into self catering apartments and getting involved with the tourism business.

Skiing Holidays

Winter is obviously our most busy time but we are getting more people coming here to enjoy the mountains in the summer and this has been helped by the budget air lines that now fly here.

Sandra is a qualified ski instructor seen here with her colleges from Hunters ski school.

Rambling Holidays

Gerry, front row blue shirt, guiding a group of walkers from Warrington who spent a week walking in the Rila mountains which included Musala, the highest peak in the Balkan peninsular.
